An Accomplished Track Record for Airports Internationally: Hong Kong Third Runway and Other Airport Projects
The Mun Hean Hong Kong team has been all hands-on deck to complete their scope for The Third Runway Project at Hong Kong International Airport. The Third Runway Project is part of the airport’s expansion into a Three-runway System (3RS), an ambitious mega project that started as early as 2016 and commissioned in 2022. With the construction of a second terminal building scheduled to 2025, and a new concourse in 2026, this US$ 18 billion project is one of the largest that Mun Hean has ever been involved in.
Mun Hean’s involvement in the 3RS project has so far supplied Power Quality solutions that include Janitza analyzers and power meters (> 25,000 pcs), Sinexcel Active Harmonic Filters (> 20,000A), and Vishay Power Capacitors (>15,000KVAR), as well as a myriad of other electrical components (e.g. Restricted Earth Fault Relays >1,500 pcs). Mun Hean is also the supplier of Helita E.S.E lightning protection system with >100pcs installed so far.
Mun Hean has an extensive and successful track record with Airport projects in their territory. In Singapore, Mun Hean lists Changi Airport Terminal 1-4, as well as Changi Jewel in their project reference, with the supply of MH Protection Relays, Janitza Power Meters, Sinexcel AHF, Vishay Power Capacitors and MH Auto Transfer Switch.
