On 8 April 2026, Mun Hean Singapore was honoured to be invited as a key speaker for the “One-Day Seminar on Solutions for the Practising Engineer.” Organised by Power T & D Pte Ltd, the full-day event was held at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and served as a platform for industry experts to share technical insights and engineering solutions.

The seminar featured a presentation by Er. Voon Yip Seng from Mun Hean Singapore, who delivered a session titled: “Technological Developments in Active Harmonic Filter and Static Var Generator.”

The presentation focused on the latest advancements in power quality technology, exploring how Active Harmonic Filters (AHF) and Static Var Generators (SVG) are evolving to meet the complex demands of modern electrical systems. Er. Voon shared technical perspectives on improving power factor and mitigating harmonic distortion to enhance system reliability and energy efficiency.
