On 20 May 2026, Mun Hean Indonesia successfully hosted the BESS Technical Assessment & Application Implementation Seminar at Pullman Hotel, Jakarta, bringing together over 100 consultants, EPC contractors and authoritative professionals for a technical knowledge-sharing session focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and High Voltage Static Var Generator (HSVG).

The seminar featured presentations on modern BESS safety and infrastructure protection, highlighting advanced fire prevention through acoustic sensors for early anomaly detection, alongside mitigation measures utilizing off-gas monitoring, fire hydrant systems and hose reels. Participants also explored scalable microgrid solutions, including all-in-one cabinet and containerized configurations for diverse operational requirements.

In addition to BESS implementation and safety considerations, the seminar included a technical session on the High voltage SVG and its application in the high-voltage era. Featuring sub-5ms response capability and stepless bidirectional tracking from -1 to +1, HSVG contributes to enhanced grid stability, compliance support and operational reliability.
