On 17 July 2026, Mun Hean successfully hosted the seminar, Smart Energy Storage: Reducing Electricity Cost and Choosing Reliable Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for Vietnamese Businesses, at Sofitel Saigon Plaza, Ho Chi Minh City. The seminar explored how Time-of-Use (TOU) tariffs, Decision 963 and the implementation of two-part electricity tariffs are reshaping energy cost management, making effective peak demand management a key business priority. Participants also gained insights into how integrating BESS with solar installations maximises energy utilisation, improves financial returns and delivers measurable savings through demand charge reduction and TOU energy arbitrage.

The session concluded with key considerations for selecting a reliable BESS, highlighting the importance of internationally recognised safety standards such as UL 9540A together with Zoe Energy's proprietary acoustic sensor technology for early fault detection, ensuring safe, dependable and long-term system performance.
