Mun Hean Malaysia successfully organised a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Technical Seminar on 8 April 2026 at M Resort & Hotel Kuala Lumpur, bringing together more than 100 industry participants.

The seminar attracted a diverse group of stakeholders, including consultants, utilities, contractors, solar service providers, facility managers, end-users, charge point operators, system integrators, and universities, reflecting the growing interest and important of energy storage solutions in the market.

The session was led by Ir. Ts. Roger Wong, General Manager of Mun Hean Malaysia, alongside Mr Chee, BESS and Power Quality Specialist from Mun Hean Singapore. Both speakers shared valuable technical insights on the latest advancements in BESS safety, including acoustic-based early fire detection technology and intelligent energy optimisation, aimed at enhancing system reliability, safety and operational efficiency.
